Devils center Jacob Josefson is recovering this morning after having surgery to repair a fractured right clavicle. The team says he is expected to miss three to four months.
Josefson was injured when he went hard into the endboards with 3:05 left in the first period of the Devils’ 4-3 shootout loss to San Jose Friday night at Prudential Center.
“He had the surgery in the middle of the night,” Devils general manager Lou Lamoriello said. “Everything went well. He had a pretty good break there.”
Josefson, 20, missed 30 games last season after having surgery to repair a detached ligament in his right thumb. He has no goals and one assist in five games this season.
I hope Josefson recover fast and that he will come back soon :)
